中学生の時、本屋さんで
「面白そうな漫画はないかなぁ？」
と、探してる時に陳列棚にあった『男組』という漫画を見つけました。
タイトルに惹かれ、当時、立ち読みが出来ましたので読んでみると胸が熱くなっていくのが子供ながらに感じました。
全25巻で、原作：雁屋哲氏 /作画：池上遼一氏 の作品です。
【内容】
主人公：流全次郎が、日本の闇と言われる『陰の総理』に挑むストーリーです。
実の父親殺しの罪状で少年刑務所に収監されている主人公：流が刑務所内の仲間、『五家宝連』伊庭彦造、高柳秀次郎、岩瀬大介、大杉五郎、長浜昇一たちと協力し、関東地区の高校を支配している神竜剛次と対決します。
神竜には関東地区を支配した高校の他、朽木組4代目：朽木威昨という暴力団組織も協力します。
争いが大きくなるにつれ、流の仲間も増えていきます。
関東連合：堀田英盛、乞食番長：倉本信二、北海番長連合：大館要造。
しかし、この争いは高校生だけの問題ではなく、裏で糸を引く人物がいます。
それが神竜の実の父親であり、戦時中にアヘンで富を築いた『陰の総理』です。
神竜が劣勢になると、陰の総理の勢力が流たちを追い詰めていきます。
仲間たちが次々と倒れ、神竜の片腕である朽木までもが殺害されてしまいます。
流と神竜のサシの対決で、流は勝利を収めますが、敵である神竜の短刀を譲り受けます。
最後に残った仲間たちに対して、流が最後に残す言葉が印象的でした。
「一粒の麦が地に落ちて、死ななければ、それはただの一粒のままである。
しかし、死んだなら、豊かに実を結ぶようになる。一粒が万粒にもなるだろう」
そして、流は単身で影の総理に挑みます。
この作品で『正義』と『信念』について考えさせられました。
中学生でこの作品に出合い、今でも私の人生に影響を与えています。

I was drawn to the title and was able to read it at the time, so even as a child I felt my heart heat up as I read it.

This is a story in which the main character: Zenjiro Nagare takes on the ``shadow prime minister,'' who is said to be the darkness of Japan.
The main character, Nagare, is imprisoned in a juvenile prison on charges of murdering his own father. He collaborates with his prison comrades, Hikozo Iba from Gokahoren, Shujiro Takayanagi, Daisuke Iwase, Goro Osugi, and Shoichi Nagahama, in the Kanto area. He will face off against Gouji Shinryu, who is controlling the high school.
In addition to the high schools that controlled the Kanto area, Shinryu also has the cooperation of a gang called Takeshi Kuchiki, the fourth generation of the Kuchiki-gumi.
As the conflict grows, the number of friends in the style also increases.

However, this conflict is not just an issue for high school students; there is someone pulling the strings behind the scenes.
This is Shinryu's biological father, the ``Shadow Prime Minister'' who made his fortune from opium during the war.
When Shenryu is in a weak position, the power of the shadow prime minister will corner Nagare and the others.
His friends fall one after another, and even Kuchiki, the right-hand man of Shinryu, is killed.
In the confrontation between Nagare and Shinryu no Sashi, Nagare wins, but receives the dagger from his enemy, Shenryu.
Nagare's last words to her remaining friends left an impression on me.
"Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains just a grain.
But if it dies, it will bear fruit in abundance. One grain will become ten thousand grains.”
And Nagare takes on the shadow prime minister alone.
This work made me think about ``justice'' and ``belief.''
I came across this work in junior high school and it continues to have an impact on my life.
