私は歯科医院が根本的に好きではないので、角度を変えて考えてしまいます。
昔から思っていましたのが歯科医院における、
①歯科衛生士の定着率
②患者の定着率
に,おいてです。
＜歯科衛生士の定着率＞
歯科医院においては衛生士さん1人は最低限必要な人数です。
これに助手さんがいれば問題はないはずです。
私が気になっていますのは、『衛生士さんの定着率』です。
ホームページ上では歯科医師の紹介はされていますが、『自社の社内環境』というべき『定着率』に関しては、どの歯科医院にも記載がされていません。
私はここが歯科医院を選ぶ際に1つのポイントとしたいのです。
5年、10年、15年と5年単位で記載されていれば歯科医院を選ぶ際の参考になります。
＜患者の定着率＞
上記と同じく、その歯科医院に通院する患者さんの『通院する定着率』も参考にさせていただきたいのです。
患者は納得した治療をしてもらえれば長く通院し、『かかりつけ医』とします。
5年、10年、15年と5年単位のデータの記載をお願いしたいのです。
この2点の『定着率』を記載するだけで、歯科医院の選択に迷っている患者さんには有難いし、歯科医院の『魅力』の1つとして活かせるはずです。
誠実な歯科医院は正直に記載するでしょうが、中には誤魔化す歯科医院もあるでしょう。
それでも、この情報があるか、ないかでは全然違います。
最後に、
＜医師1人に衛生士＆助手の人数について＞
私は医師1人に対して、衛生士＆助手は3～4人がベストの状態と思います。
この人数で患者の対応と受付も出来るはずです。
これ以上の人数であれば、医院としても人件費捻出のために、患者に負担を求めると考えます。
医師2人になれば6～8人という訳ではありません。
せいぜい増やしてプラス2人といったところでしょう。
私の経験上、医師1人に対して衛生士＆助手が6人以上は『要注意』です。
1回で出来る治療を小分けにしてきます。
＜例＞歯の掃除の場合 ※前提条件：定期検診を3～6ヶ月単位で診てもらっている。
普通⇒全体を30分程度時間をかけて、1回で終了。
異例①⇒縦割りで3分割とし、左上下、正面上下、右上下で3回に分け、私の場合、3回繰り返され、10回目に同時進行の歯の治療終了を境に通院をやめました。
異例②⇒右上、左上、右下、左下と4分割で4回に分けて掃除。
歯科医院における『定着率』の情報提供をお願いします。
誠実な歯科医院においては『武器』になると思いますよ。
